WAHOO!!

My son, Andrew Gillen has a restaurant in San Francisco, Q. Last night he and the restaurant were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Network. One proud mama here, to say the least! The food in the restaurant is beyond spectacular (I'd say that even if I weren't the kid's mom, honest).

They having a party next week at Q to watch a CD of the show. It'll be one great, fun filled event to attend if you live in the SFO area. Click WAHOO (above) for Q's site.

Bon appetit!

Nancy,
Q is one of most fave restaurants in SF. For the last couple years, my daughter, 16, who loves to watch Guy's 3Ds with me, wanted to write to tell Guy all about Q. On our last visit on New Year's Eve, we noticed that Guy autographed the wall! My daughter's favorite is the apple crisp. No matter how full she is after the fabulous dinner, there is always room for the apple crisp (with ice cream, of course!).

We always wondered why it is called "Q", well we know its not Andrew's name.

I will say HI to Andrew the next time we visit!

Rosie,

I guarantee you'd love the food...it's good, good, good!

Thanks for writing.

Nancy

Gail,

Wow! I'll let Andy know you're a 'regular.'

Q is from BBQ...why not?

Go to the CD showing at Q next week if you can, I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

How exciting! I love Diners, Drive-ins and Dives! The show should be great for business, but doesn't sound like he needs it! Thanks for sharing! Off to check out the link. Too bad I live on the east coast, I'd like to check out the restaurant in person!

Congrats! I just missed it but think we have it recorded. I love to watch the show and get a kick out of Guy. He's a mess. The menu sounds more than a little delectible! Have fun this weekend!

Congrats to Andrew! I am bummed we don't live there anymore--I would have checked it out tonight. It's located on Clement St...that's definitely the Restaurant scene of the Richmond district. Mmmm...my mouth is watering!
