TUTORIAL: SEQUIN WRAPPED BEADS (MARTHA STEWART)

Leave it to Martha to come up with these glammers...shine and glitz to the max!  If you don't want them hanging around your neck (on your shoes or around a napkin), you can always save them til next December for the tree.  Does that make them a multi-use creation?

FREE DOWNLOADS: DOILIES (MARTHA STEWART)

Although these downloads are intended for the tops of round cookie tins, you don't need to be told they can be placed anywhere your little heart desires. And with the doily craze that is taking over everything, I have an idea you'll find all kinds of places and ways to put them to good use.

And if you're wondering how to make sure the cut edge is 1/8" from the printed doily, check out this tip I posted ages (and ages!) ago:

TUTORIAL: PICNIC FOOD PROTECTORS (MARTHA STEWART)

This is one of those DUH (why in the world didn't I think of this?) moments. Not only is it an excellent idea, but think of all the fun you'll have stamping on those muslin circles (or squares)and decorating the rims of those hoops. Remember to wash, dry (no softener agent in either the washer or dryer) and press the muslin to the shiny side of freezer paper before stamping or coloring. Textile markers can be used either to color stamped images or for free hand drawings. Do not remove the freezer paper until the ink and/or markers have been heat set. Way too much fun!

TUTORIAL/TEMPLATES: FELT COASTERS (MARTHA STEWART)

Lickety split coasters...plus there's three terrific flower-shaped templates. How cool is that? Now you smarties have already figured out you can use adhesive backed felt to eliminate the glue, and/or you can use your die cutting machine and large floral dies to do the work. If your machine (or die) won't cut through the double layer of felt and cork, cut each layer seperately then adjoin them.

Click TUTORIAL/TEMPLATES (above), head to the printer then grab the felt. BTW: you don't need a photocopier...your handy dandy ink jet will do a fine job.

What dad wouldn't love a picture (or two) of his favorite kid(s)for Father's Day? These frames are about as cost effective (sounds better than cheap) as can be. Same could be said of the time required to whip up a few.

Click TUTORIAL/VIDEO (above) and start framing.
