FREE DOWNLOADS: DOILIES (MARTHA STEWART)

Although these downloads are intended for the tops of round cookie tins, you don't need to be told they can be placed anywhere your little heart desires. And with the doily craze that is taking over everything, I have an idea you'll find all kinds of places and ways to put them to good use.

And if you're wondering how to make sure the cut edge is 1/8" from the printed doily, check out this tip I posted ages (and ages!) ago:

Click FREE DOWNLOADS (above) to see and print Martha's doilies.

CRICUT: VALUABLE CRICUT TIPS AND TRICKS (IMPERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL; AMANDA)

If you are a Cricut owner, you have to take a few minutes to read what Amanda has for you. There's all sorts of good info here, and you'll love her money saving tips.

One word about the adhesive cutting mat used with a Cricut. Almost every repositional adhesive (the kind used on the mat) is water resistant and will be sticky again after being cleaned with soap and water. Apply a very thin layer of dish washing detergent to your finger tips and gently rub the mat clean under cool running water. When all the gunk that was stuck on the mat is removed, shake excess water from the mat and place it, sticky side up, on a flat surface and allow to dry. The mat usually can be cleaned three times before it will need to be replaced.
