MAKE IT EASY: LEFTOVERS BACKGROUND PAPERS

This stash of bits and parts and pieces are leftovers from previous projects. In almost every case, the original use of the DIY decorated cardstock was as the background for a card...some of the slivers were sliced off the side or bottom of a piece of cardstock.

To decorate the glossy cardstock, Clearsnap inks were smooshed, squashed, brushed and smeared over the cardstock. The colors and types used were Deep Green Fluid Chalk, Pastel Olive Fluid Chalk, Yellow Gold MicaMagic, Burnt Copper MetaleXtra and Cardinal Ancient Page. Up to four colors of ink were used on each piece. The inks were heat set when the paper was originally decorated. The dragonfly image was stamped with Burnt Copper on a leftover piece. I unmounted the stamp and didn't record the name on the back, so I have no idea what company has the copyright for the stamp. Sorry about that... And here's the card...bits and parts and pieces layered on black cardstock. A Xyron provided the adhesive. Needless to say, all of the pieces seen in the first picture weren't used; some were saved for another day. I know it's lame to say it, but this card looks a lot better in person than it does in my pathetic picture.
