This pin is a great leftovers project...all you need is half of a 6" circle of Washi Origami paper, some Liquid FIMO (a liquid polymer clay), short piece of fine wire, little bit of Mizihuiki Cord, and a dab of glue. You'll also need a fat needle, a small brush and one pin back.
Fan fold the half circle of paper. Squish the folds at the base so all folds are together. Thread the wire on the fat needle. Push the needle through the folds and pull the wire through the folds. Remove the needle from the wire and twist the two ends of the wire together to hold the folds together.
Brush a light coating of the clay over the front and back of the fan. Place the fan on a piece of cooking parchment and cure as directed by the manufacturer. Remove the wire (the cured clay will hold the folds together), wrap the cord around the base of the fan, twisting the strands together. Glue the pin back in place.
Matching earrings...why not? Both halves of a 3" circle make a pair.

Hi Nancy! I hadn't heard of the liquid Fimo before but your lovely fan would be great for an Oriental card too.
Very cute! Love the liquid polymer clay idea.
