TUTORIALS; STAMPING WITH FRUITS AND VEGGIES (PARENTS; AMANDA KINGLOFF AND TARYN MOHRMAN)

Who needs stamps when we've got a fridge full of fruit and veggies?  Not a bad way to use up those odds and ends lingering in the back.

Remember...when stamping on fabric that will be laundered to wash and dry the  fabric (clothing) without any type of softener in either the washer or dryer prior to stamping.  Then press freezer paper (shiny side of paper on fabric) to the wrong side of the fabric with a medium heat iron; the fabric should be smooth and flat.  The paper will act as a 'shirt board' so ink or markers cannot bleed through, and it also holds the fabric taunt when stamping and using markers. Fabric paint is recommended, although craft paint mixed with a Textile Medium works too.  If using markers, select those labeled For Textiles. Heat set all paint and markers when dry; do not remove the freezer paper until heat setting is completed (it removes easily).  Wait one week before laundering.
