GOOD GRIEF!!

Talk about the Perils of Pauline...I decided to make the big switch to cable for phone, internet and tv (rabbit-ears have been doing the job, just fine, thank you very much, but that dial-up was driving me nuts). I won't bore you with the hassles and frustrations I've endured since July 2. But I will tell you I have been without a phone or internet since then. Progress is very painful.

The cable company is now promising I will be hooked up July 15. Since my original installation date was July 2, I'm not holding my breath.

In the meantime...I've decided this is an opportunity to sort through the stash. An opportunity I may or may not take advantage of...
