MAKE IT EASY: CARD OF LEFTOVER IMAGES

I'm one of those 'testors.' I test and retest everything before I start the real thing. Surprises in the middle of a project drive me up the wall. All that testing isn't bad...I know what will or won't work (and, boy, do I know a lot of things that won't work), and I end up with a slug of leftovers. This card is made from leftovers from the card in the DIY Background Paper and Embellishment post of March 26. Kind of neat how different each is.

Clockwise from upper left:
Clearsnap Fluid Chalk Olive Pastel patted over white sketch paper; the stamp was inked with Clearsnap Ancient Page Coal; after the ink was heat set, the edges of the paper were torn against ruler.
The stamp was inked with Clearsnap Ancient Page Coal and stamped on the adhesive side of a piece of Grafix All-Purpose Frisket Film Clear; Jacquard Pearl Ex Super Bronze was brushed over the adhesive side; excess Pearl Ex was removed with a soft brush.
Clearsnap Fluid Chalk French Blue was patted over white sketch paper; Fluid Chalk Warm Red was lightly patted over some areas as an accent; excess ink was rubbed off with a slightly damp sponge; the stamp was inked with Clearsnap Ancient Page Stone Gray; the inks were heat set.
The stamp was inked with Clearsnap Ancient Page Stone Gray and stamped on beige cardstock from Pacon; after the ink was heat set, the edges of the paper were torn.
Stamp from Stampabilities; all pieces adhered with Grafix DoubleTack to Pacon white card stock that had been scored to form a card.

Hi! I just received your invitation to come see - and I had never heard of "inchies" before! I am a member of a couple of groups; would it be okay to publish your page and take it with me to these groups? I will not do so until you let me know. Fascinating! Thanks for all the techniques!

Hewitt,

Sure...print it out and take it to your groups. Just ask them to give me credit if they re-publish. I haven't any idea who came up with the Inchies idea, but it does give new meaning to bits and parts and pieces! There's a Yahoo group...think it's, 'How Small Can You Make It.' A search on the Yahoo Group page for Inchies should bring it up, if that name is incorrect.
