WORTHY OF MENTION: SCRATCH-ART

Scratch-Art products are on my 'Super Favorites' list. Many products are unique to this company, and all are very reasonably priced. That's a good deal, far as I'm concerned! Check out the web site (http://www.scratchart.com/) to see the variety of products available. If you don't find them locally, The Store Locator link has a list of sites.

Here's a few of my favorite Scratch-Art products:
Scratch-Foam Board: This is the Make-A-Stamp supply. You'll find other uses for this handy foam (one is as a 'lifter' under a layer or image) , but making stamps will be at the top of your list.
Shade-Tex Rubbing Plates: I use these in my Sizzix as embossing plates; before beginning, I dampen both sides of the paper. I'm sure they also can be used the same way in a roller-type machine. That's only one use for these versatile Plates. Paper or fabric placed over a plate can be colored by rubbing it with the flat side of a crayon. Transfer the image of a Plate by placing paper or fabric over an inked plate and rubbing the back of the paper or fabric. The plates are excellent to use as molds, for either clays or dampened paper. One word of warning: they are not heat resistant; do not hasten drying of either clay or paper with a heat gun.
Rubbing Stick: Get one immediately! Thanks to the flat, circular end, it's the
ultimate burnishing tool. Use it to rub the back of paper or fabric placed on an inked Shade-Tex plate. Use it to rub the back of paper placed on an inked stamp (photo-type and highly detailed stamps). Use it to rub across the back of Grafix All-Purpose Frisket that has been placed (vinyl side down) over an inked sheet of stamps. Use it to secure layers and edges bonded with an adhesive. Use the flat end as a scoring tool.
3D-Os: These small foam buttons have an adhesive on each side and are the perfect 'lifter' to create a 3D affect.
