MAKE IT EASY: IMPRESSION IN VELVET CARD

Here's another example of an impression in velvet. A Wilton Decorator Favorites Pattern Press Set (whew!) was used to make this impression; the
Press was not inked. The Press is plastic and is normaly used to imprint a design into cake frosting.
When a plastic item is used for impressing vlevet, either a double layer of a regular weight Teflon Pressing Sheet or a single layer of a Heavy Duty teflon Pressing Sheet must be placed over the item to protect it from the heat of the iron.
The frame is a DIY: Grafix Double Tack was applied to a mat board frame, and silver metal leaf was applied to the adhesive. Excess leaf was removed with a soft brush.
