You CAN do it...even if your machine is a golden-oldie. If the feed dog of your machinecan be dropped, you're in business. If it can't, forget the fiddly stitches and just straight stitch along the edges. Use a variety of stitch lengths to add some interest. If you have a zigzag stitch, use that, and again, vary the width and length of the stitches.
I spend a good part of every day playing...coloring, cutting, slicing, dicing, gluing this to that, slapping either paint or ink hither and yon, stitching anything a needle will go through, rolling out clay...the fun never stops. I'm a lucky gal.
