RECYCLE: GIFT BAG FROM ENVELOPE (MICHELLE'S RUBBER ROOM; MICHELLE)

I know it says gift bag...but why not a May Basket? Make it, fill it up with some paper flowers, add a handle, and you're in business. Easy as pie, thanks to the excellent video.

TUTORIAL: TRIFOLD-PIECED ACETATE WINDOW CARD (MELANIE MUENCHINGER)

This is one clever card! The tut is clearly written, so creating one is easy as can be. Click TUTORIAL (above) to see it.

TUTORIAL/TEMPLATE: PETAL PAPER CONE (WEDDING BEE)

Consider paper cones filled with flower petals for a special touch for weddings, showers and Mother's Day. They'e also a great May Day 'basket.' The cones are easy to make and are completed in a snap (especially if you use patterened paper).

Click TUTORIAL/TEMPLATE (above) to see how they're made.

TUTORIAL: FABRIC BASKET (MODA BAKE SHOP; VANESSA, V AND CO.)

Man, oh man...does this basket ever take me back! I made a slug of these when they were the rage a few (OK, more than a few) years ago. As you can guess, they weren't limited to Easter. A sewing machine is nice for stitching the ends of strips together, but hand stitching works just fine. If baskets aren't your thing, make the bottom coil in the desired size for either coasters or hot pads. Fun to make, and even more fun to give.

Click TUTORIAL (above) and start creating!

TUTORIAL: ORIGAMI CRANE (THE FLIRTY GUIDE; STACIE TAMAKI)

On a score of 1 - 10, this tut rates a 15. You'll be hard pressed to find another tut that so clearly shows the steps required to fold a crane. No question, this tut will end the hassles you may have had when folding cranes.

TUTORIAL: CUPCAKE PLANTER (WHIMSY GIRL; NIKKI)

How cute are these? Perfect centerpieces for the Mother's Day brunch (feast?). If the centerpieces are taken care of, they're an excellent substitute for a bouquet of flowers. In fact, these are a wonderful gift for any special occasion.

Haven't a clue as to what to get dear old mom for the upcoming festivities? Nothing fits better than a gift card, and it's always the right color, too! This card holder adds a bit of glam to that handy piece of plastic.

Click TUTORIAL (above) and start creating.

TUTORIAL/TEMPLATE: TEACUP CARD (ZAKKA LIFE;JESSICA OKUI)

Teacup lovers will jump for joy over this card, and it's right on time for a Mother's Day tea party. It'd be a neat shower invitation too.

TUTORIAL/TEMPLATES: PAPER TULIPS (CHEEKY MAGPIE; SHEILA)

More paper flowers...but tulips this time. Nothing says spring like tulips, and there's no question it's time for spring to spring. You'll enjoy creating a bunch of these pretties.

Click TUTORIAL/TEMPLATES (above) to begin your paper bouquet.

TUTORIAL: 'PEEKER' CARD (MARCO'S PAPER)

Am sure there's a more professional name for this card, but it looks like a 'peeker' to me, so 'peeker' (as opposed to 'peaker') it is. Whatever you call it, it's a neat card, and would work well for Mother's Day.

Click TUTORIAL (above) to see how it's made.

RECYCLE: ALUMINUM CAN JEWERLY (ESPRIT EBANE)

Wondering what to make for Mom that will delight and impress her? This jewerly will handle those requirements. Plus, it's kind of a hoot when cans end up as bling and glam.

Trash never looked so good! Clever, with terrific results...my kind of creation. Click RECYCLE (above) to see how it's done.

TUTORIAL: TISSUE PAPER CARNATIONS (FOLDING TREES; JUNE)

There are tuts for tissue paper flowers, and there are tuts...this one is beyond superb. The pictures tell the story, and the clearly written text add another dimension. Good as a tut could be...

VIDEO: SHREDDED PAPER FLOWER (BAD GIRLS KITS; WENDI)

More flowers...these differ quite a bit from the others. If you don't have a paper shredder, use the pasta cutter on your pasta machine that you use for clay and other softies (provided your pasta machine has a pasta cutter). Am sure a paper cutter used by quillers would work just fine too. If nothing else, your paper cutter or rotary cutters will do the job.

Don't fret if the paper isn't 8 1/2 x 11". Strips cut from that size paper are cut in half (to 5 1/2' long), so if you use paper that is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2", you won't have to cut the strips in half before stapling. Course, there's nothing that says the strips have to be 5 1/2" long...use the length that best suits your purpose.

I used a different title for this video than Martha did; frankly, I thought mine more accurately described the contents of the video (sorry, old gal). You can see how die cuts, images from coloring books, clip art downloads, or your original drawings also would be excellent to include in these framed pieces. I

If downloading images, print on the wrong side of the paper to eliminate tracing. ULTRA SUPER SITE: ALTERED (T)ART AND STUFF; ROSIE)

Too much stuff here to list it all...just take my word for it. this is the place you hit when you're a little bored, lack mojo, need a link, are searching for a tut and/or want to see some fantastic creations. It's all here.

Click ULTRA SUPER SITE (above) and enjoy.

TUTORIAL: CRISS-CROSS BASKET (PAPER SMILES; NANCY MORGAN)

No such thing as too many basket tuts this time of the year. This one is a little different, so it might suit your needs better than the others. It's your call...

TUTORIAL: QUICKIE FELT DAISY (WHIP UP)

OK...you're way ahead of me. Sure, either paper or woven fabric would work. Don't know why craft foam or acetate wouldn't do the job too...

Click TUTORIAL (above) and have fun!

TUTORIAL: POST-IT NOTE PAD COVER (JEN TAPLER)

Here's a great gift for that bunny to stick in a basket. This holder is a little different from most, but it's still easy, quick...and always appreciated (no foolin!).
