TUTORIAL/TEMPLATES: TRI-SHUTTER CARD (ROBIN'S CRAFT ROOM; ROBIN)

Great tut here...every step is clearly described, and the templates eliminate any guessing. Tri-shutter cards are fun cause they always receive a big WOO when opened.

Nancy, every single day I find something in your posts to add to my "Nancy Ward File"-- the understanding being implied that if Nancy thought it was cool, then 99% of the time, I will, too. My To-Do project list overflows! If you didn't have so darned many wonderful recommendations, I'd leave a "Bless your heart!" comment a whole lot more often, but you'd soon be tired of me and my comments....

Please do know how much I appreciate all you do to find us all of these delightful/informative/creative/beautiful/fun/[insert many, many additional adjectives here] projects!
Best Wishes,
Mary

Nancy, I found your instructions for the tri shutter card template to be extremly easy especially with the diagrams. As I didnt want to use an 11 inch long piece of paper, I readjusted your original measurements to redo the card to fit 8.5 x 11 (standard card stock size) Your 2" sections I decreased to 1 3/4". Your 4" sections I decreased to 3 3/4". Your 1 " deep cuts along the long sides I increased to 2 1/2" This size card will fit nicely into a greeting card envelope 5 3/4" x 8 3/4" (I get mine at Walmart)

Thanks so much for letting us know how to use 8.5 x 11' paper for this super card.

I can't take credit for the original tut and templates though...that honor goes to Robin.

Thanks again...
